“ I never would have thought Id find delicious soul food barbecue on the boardwalk, but Buddy Loves BBQ nailed it. I had the brisket combo platter and my husband had the 12 rack rib combo platter. Each came with two sides, so we got try to several sides. The portion size was fantastic! We were both full after devouring our meals. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the branded bun was a great personal touch. The ribs practically fell off the bone and the sauce was sweet and spicy. The sides were delicious too. The macaroni and cheese was full of cheese and well seasoned. The baked beans were thick and had just the right amount of smoke flavor. We received a full piece of corn on the cob as a side and it was buttery and Cajun seasoned. The service was fast and friendly and I could tell the owners wanted customers to be welcomed and well fed. I would DEFINITELY come back here to eat. I hope more people visit this place. Its one of the best on the boardwalk! ”
“ Best bbq around! 1010 Finished combo in 3 minutes flat. Got the brisket sandwich combo with mac and cheese and potato salad. Brisket was tender and moist. Bread toasted perfectly, and pickle was a nice compliment. Mac and cheese noodles were great consistency, and super cheesy! THE POTATO SALAD! So dang good, I actually said wow out loud when I took a bite, so much complex beautiful flavor! Everyone Definitely needs to try this place! I will definitely be coming back and telling all my friends! ”

The mac cheese was cheesy enough and the beans were so good . Ate it within five minutes as soon as I got home . The best barbecue I had down the shore ”

“ Wanted a LowCarb lunch while on the Ocean City NJ beach for the day. I had passed Buddys while walking the boards the day before. I decided to give a half rack a try the next day in the beach. I was not disappointed. Before and after pics below. As a low carb enthusiast I asked for my ribs with the added bbq sauce on the side, which I did not need. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. I will definitely go back for more next time in Ocean City. ”
